Project Manager – Water Resources

Must-Haves
  • BS in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater engineering projects
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain preferred
  • Experience with water line and sanitary sewer rehabilitation/replacement projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage projects, clients, and technical teams effectively
  • Experience with permitting, environmental studies, and construction coordination preferred
  • Ability to travel periodically as needed

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate existing utility infrastructure and develop recommendations for rehabilitation or replacement
  • Support the design and implementation of water line and sanitary sewer improvement projects
  • Coordinate environmental studies, permitting activities, alternative analyses, and technical deliverables
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
  • Assist with submittal reviews, RFIs, change requests, and change orders
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, project teams, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders
  • Identify future project opportunities and support business development efforts
  • Deliver presentations to clients, public officials, and regulatory agencies
  • Attend industry networking events, trade shows, and technical conferences
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through successful project delivery
  • Incorporate engineering considerations into water and wastewater system designs, including pump selection, valve sizing, and equipment layout
  • Support troubleshooting and performance evaluation during construction and commissioning phases
