Corrections Facility Coordinator - DHS - DCR - Mt. Olive Correctional Complex & Jail - Fayette

Minimum Special Hiring Rate: $36,533.00

• Under general supervision, performs full performance duties of Corrections Facility Coordinator 1 overseeing the activities of state shop, post office, laundry, or central receiving, and inmate workers.
• Work is reviewed by CFC II through results produced through meetings to evaluate input.
• Performs related work as required.
• CFC 1 makes work assignments, compiles reports on section’s activities and ensures accuracy.
• In some instances, may perform related work of a more advanced level.
• Direct inmate contact.
• Trains co-workers in proper work methods.
• Ensures that equipment, supplies, and materials are available.
• Assist in security post as needed.

• Training:
  Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  Four years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in the area of assignment, one year of which must have been in a lead worker capacity.
• Substitution:
  Coursework from an accredited college or university may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis for up to four years of experience.
