Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts Monday through Friday, typically 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM

• 40 hours per week guaranteed

• On-call requirement of approximately 8 days per month including 1 weekend per month with 30-minute response time

• Every third weekend required (5-6 total weekends in contract)

• Average daily census of 7-10 patients

• Floating required to sister facility 2 miles away for 1 week

• 1 year of experience required, first-time travelers accepted

• Required licensure: ARRT, WV State License (may submit with pending but must be active prior to start)

• Required certifications: BLS (Vascular Intervention Cert preferred)

• Blue surgical scrubs issued by hospital

• Free parking provided for travelers

• Charting system:
Cerner

• Work in interventional vascular radiology suite performing peripheral angiography/venography with intervention, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, neuro-intervention including acute stroke, and embolization

• Equipment experience required: PACS, fluoroscopy (Siemens & ultrasound preferred)

• Procedural responsibilities include accurate monitoring, equipment setup, EKG lead placement, prep access site, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, room circulation, scrub maintenance of sterile field, and vascular closure systems

• Maintain equipment, inventory, and stock supplies

• Orientations held every other Monday

• Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests within reason

This is a Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital with 838 total staffed beds, serving as a member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems. The facility operates as a short-term acute care hospital with comprehensive interventional radiology services, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and specialized procedural capabilities for complex vascular interventions and emergency stroke care.
