Description:

The position involves working in an interventional vascular radiology suite.
Procedures performed include peripheral angiography, venography with intervention, EVAR, TEVAR, and carotid stenting.
Neuro-intervention procedures including acute stroke and embolization will also be part of the responsibilities.
The average daily census is 7-10 patients.
Candidates must be willing to participate in on-call rotation, including weekdays and weekends.
Approximately 8 days of on-call coverage will be required each month, including 1 weekend.
Candidates will need to float to a sister facility for 1 week during the contract period.
Equipment used includes fluoroscopy and ultrasound, with experience in PACS preferred.
Candidates will be responsible for accurate monitoring and equipment setup.
Performing EKG lead placement and preparing access sites will be expected responsibilities.
Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, room circulation, and maintaining a sterile field are essential skills.
Knowledge of vascular closure systems is required.
Candidates must adhere to sterile technique and infection control protocols.
