Must-Have:
First-time travelers accepted.
On-call requirement includes approximately 8 days a month, including 1 weekend per month.
30-minute response time for on-call duty.
Floating required to a sister facility for 1 week.
Blocked schedule requests accommodated within reason and discussed during interview.
Candidates must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility to be submitted.

Description:

The position involves working in an interventional vascular radiology suite.
Responsibilities include peripheral angiography and venography with intervention, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, and neuro-interventions including acute stroke and embolization.
Daily census averages 7-10 patients.
Skills required include accurate monitoring and equipment setup.
You will perform EKG lead placement and prepare the access site.
Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias is crucial.
Responsibility includes being a room circulator and ensuring sterile field maintenance.
Familiarity with vascular closure systems such as Perclose and Star Close is required.
All equipment maintenance and inventory stocking are key components of the role.

Experience with fluoroscopy and ultrasound equipment is preferred.
Infection control and sterile technique knowledge are essential.
