Job Summary:

Village Caregiving - Charleston is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual for the position of Part Time Caregiver for clients located in and around Chesapeake, West Virginia. As a Caregiver, you will provide support and assistance to our residents with daily living activities and ensure their physical, emotional, and social well-being. This is an individual contributor role where you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients.

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients.
- Help residents with mobility and transfers as needed.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Communicate any concerns or changes in client's condition to the appropriate staff members.
- Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology.
- Ability to work well with others and build positive relationships with clients, their families, and other staff members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and transfer clients as needed.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
