Minimum 2 years RN experience required; 1-year minimum in specialty experience required; first-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience

Active RN license in the applicable state required; pending license accepted
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI
Must-Have: IV start, telemetry experience, ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
Description:
The position is for an Emergency Department RN working three 12-hour night shifts per week.
The nurse will care for a patient population ranging from infants to geriatrics.
Ratios in the department are 4:1.
The nurse will be expected to work every other weekend.
Certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI are required.
CPI training can be obtained prior to the start date.
The nurse will also be required to manage patients with various emergencies, including neurological, orthopedic, psychiatric, and renal issues, with a special focus on trauma.
Experience with high-acuity patients and a high psychiatric population is necessary.
The role requires skills in IV management, telemetry, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
Travelers must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility for submission.
Medical exemptions for required vaccinations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Full documentation is required prior to the start of the assignment.
This position may include blocked schedules, which should be discussed during the interview.
Nurses are advised to complete any necessary modules prior to the start date.
Travel experience and references within the past two years are desirable.
The environment is fast-paced, requiring strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
