Lead Banquet Server

Our client, a distinguished hospitality organization, is seeking a Lead Banquet Server to join their team. As a Banquet Lead, you will be part of the Food & Beverage Service team supporting event operations and overseeing banquet service staff. This is a hands‑on leadership role for an experienced banquet professional who can take ownership during events, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and help guide the team to successful event execution.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, service‑oriented, and comfortable leading by example in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

• Lead Banquet Server oversees staff during events, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences
• Take ownership of assigned events and serve as a key point of support for banquet operations
• Coordinate and assist with event setup, room arrangements, and event breakdown activities
• Provide a high level of service to members and guests, promptly addressing requests and concerns
• Monitor event timelines and service standards to ensure successful execution
• Work closely with kitchen staff, management, and event coordinators to maintain seamless communication
• Train, mentor, and support banquet servers while promoting teamwork and accountability
• Assist with maintaining banquet equipment, supplies, and cleanliness standards throughout events

• Previous banquet experience required, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Ability to take ownership and provide direction during events rather than serving solely as an additional banquet server
• Dependable, professional, and able to lead a team in a fast‑paced hospitality environment
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering exceptional member and guest service
• Experience with banquet setup, service execution, and event breakdown
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items for extended periods
