Strong technical skill level working on complex assignments within the network systems installation and/or maintenance activities. Works on relatively straightforward installation and/or maintenance assignments on network switching equipment. Technician for customer/company network systems installation and/or maintenance activities.

• Technician for customer/company network systems installation and/or maintenance activities.
• Resolve complex network problems involving power, network hardware and software, lines, modems and terminals.
• Use software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose network status and problems; conduct complex network monitoring equipment installation and maintenance activities; resolve complex trouble tickets.
• Monitor network operations and resolve routine network monitoring problems.
• Monitor network performance; conduct routine monitoring equipment installation and maintenance activities; resolve routine trouble tickets.
• Knowledge of/Ability to troubleshoot: IP subnetting, IP routing, IPSEC tunnels, IPVPN, and VRRP/HSRP.

• Associate degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
• 3+ years related experience in a specific area or equivalent.
• May require technical certification.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

$64,668 - $86,190 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA  KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY

$67,875 - $90,500 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$71,108 - $94,809 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
