Job Summary
Encova Insurance is seeking an End User Compute Collaboration Administrator to support and maintain collaboration systems across the organization. The role is based in Charleston, WV and is primarily hybrid.
Salary Range$55,132.00 – $88,210.00 annually + bonus + benefits.
Pay Type:
Salary. Final pay is based on location, education, experience and other job-related factors.
- Provide technical support for teams and projects within the collaboration environment.
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in virtualization, cloud-based collaboration technologies, and Microsoft Teams.
- Serve as a Microsoft Teams engineer, supporting the end‑user environment, phone system, endpoints, Genesys, WebRTC, and Open Text XMedius fax systems.
- Process request, incident, and problem tickets; participate in support activities.
- Assist in the design, deployment, and documentation of enterprise collaboration solutions.
- Collaborate with local and remote technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors to define integration requirements.
- Ensure deployment standards and project scope documentation are followed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of software delivery practices and technology trends.
- Perform other duties as assigned and support knowledge transfer within the Workplace Services footprint.
- 3+ years of IT experience (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Associate’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Strong technical foundation in operating systems, virtualization, cloud technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), and IT engineering principles.
- Basic understanding of collaboration products, including Microsoft Teams, Genesys, and WebRTC.
- Customer‑service oriented with strong communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and work overtime as needed.
- Desire to learn, adapt quickly, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Industry or vendor certifications are a plus.
- Ability to meet compliance regulations and adhere to Encova IT principles such as high availability, least privilege, and customer service.
