The IT Business Support Analyst is responsible for deploying, maintaining, and supporting end-user technology systems at ALTIVIA’s Haverhill facility. This position serves as the primary point of contact for employees requiring technical assistance and provides support for computer systems, printing systems, communication platforms, and related technology infrastructure. The IT Business Support Analyst works closely with the Information Technology team to ensure reliable technology services and escalate issues when additional expertise is required.

The IT Business Support Analyst is responsible for deploying, maintaining, and supporting end-user technology systems at ALTIVIA’s Haverhill facility. This position serves as the primary point of contact for employees requiring technical assistance and provides support for computer systems, printing systems, communication platforms, and related technology infrastructure. The IT Business Support Analyst works closely with the Information Technology team to ensure reliable technology services and escalate issues when additional expertise is required.
Job Responsibilities- Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware, software, surveillance systems, and peripheral devices within a Microsoft-based network environment.
- Install, configure, maintain, and support communication platforms, including VoIP phone systems, audio/visual equipment, and related components.
- Provide technical support to employees by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, printing, and connectivity issues both remotely and in person.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT personnel and assist with problem resolution as needed.
- Support the maintenance and operation of wired and wireless network devices both onsite and remotely.
- Assist with workstation deployments, software installations, system upgrades, and technology refresh projects.
- Maintain technical documentation, inventory records, and asset management information.
- Support cybersecurity, system access, and user account management activities in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor and maintain technology systems to maximize reliability, performance, and user productivity.
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support to employees across the organization.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to support business initiatives and technology projects.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of certifications, experience, and education.
- Ability to pass a TSA Security Threat Assessment and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
- Ability to work a standard Monday through Friday schedule with occasional overtime as needed.
- Ability to respond to technology emergencies outside of normal business hours when required.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 and newer operating systems, desktop computers, and laptop computers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with computer hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and system configuration.
- General knowledge of network hardware, network connectivity, and basic network configuration.
- Ability to assemble, configure, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems and related hardware.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and consistently follow through on assignments.
- Strong organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods both indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment that may include hazardous materials.
