Description:
OR First Assist RNs are required to undergo a comprehensive orientation process.
This position involves 5x8 hour shifts and includes on-call duties during weekdays and weekends.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse.
First-time travelers will not be accepted for this position.
There will be call requirements, with a self-scheduling system that includes some weeknights and weekends on a rotating basis.
Candidates must demonstrate skills in pediatric general OR, general OR, circulating, and scrubbing.
Experience with robotic assistance is preferred.
The role involves assisting in various surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and general surgeries.
All personnel are required to receive the flu vaccine unless a medical exemption is provided.
Covid vaccination is not required for this role.
References from a minimum of 2 managers or charge nurses within the past 2 years are needed.
Candidates should possess the ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
All required documentation must be submitted prior to the start date to avoid delays in processing.
