RN, Surgical Assistant, Operating Room Nurse

3x12 hour shifts, either 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM or 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, with weekend requirements and on‑call duty.

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to both circulate and scrub in a fast‑paced operating room environment. This role involves working with cardiac, general, vascular, thoracic, and robotic cases, and requires proficiency in complex surgical procedures.

• Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
• Circulate and scrub for surgeries involving vascular, orthopedic, general, ENT, urological, and gynecological specialties.
• Ensure compliance with surgical safety protocols and maintain sterile field during procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in patient status during surgery.
• Participate in the education and support of patients and their families throughout the surgical process.

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year of experience in a surgical specialty.
• Current BLS certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS preferred.
• West Virginia or compact RN license required; pending licenses may be accepted.
• Must have documented experience in circulation and scrubbing for cardiac and general surgeries.
