Travel Ortho​/Med-Surg Overflow RN

Overview

Travel Nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry position in Charleston, West Virginia. 13‑week contract, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts (7PM‑7AM). Weekdays with every other weekend required.

• Provide care to patients who have undergone bone and joint reconstructive surgery, joint replacement, orthopedic trauma surgery, or have experienced sports injuries.
• Manage patient care for individuals aged 18 and older.
• Monitor and administer telemetry as indicated, focusing on cardiac management.
• Utilize competency in IV start, cardiac drips, and wound care technologies.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Adapt to variable patient ratios and care needs, including nights and weekends.

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in a related specialty.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred.
• WV or Compact RN license required; pending licenses accepted for submission.
• Experience in managing cardiac drips and telemetry patients.
