Role

Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in a travel assignment.

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
• Assess patient conditions, monitor cardiac data, administer medications, prepare patients for procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Ensure patient safety, document care activities, facilitate discharge planning, and adhere to infection control protocols.

• At least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• Valid RN license and current BLS certification.
• Preferred certifications: NIHSS and ACLS.
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
• Must possess physical, motor, sensory, and mental capabilities to perform duties effectively.

• Explain procedures, administer treatments, conduct assessments, and monitor patient responses.
• Ensure a safe environment, document thoroughly, advocate for patients, and support discharge processes.
