Nights 7p-7a; weekdays, every other weekend required. Please limit holiday rto requests to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays. 39 beds. Cardiac - acute mi unstable angina chf unstable arrhythmias and cardiac disorders. Cva surgical patients. Observation unit with high turnover 36 hours or less. Half inpatient half observation on average. Adult and geriatric patient populations. Cardioversion tee thoracentesis bone marrow biopsy chest tube insertion central line insertion paracentesis experience preferred but not required.

Post cardiac cath post angiogram ptca experience required. Required drips are heparin cardizem amiodarone dobutamine dopamine nitro. Must have a working proficiency. Orientation/start date held every other week on thursday. 2 years of experience required. Ratio: it is typically 5/1. In instances where there might be a call in or staff member leave sick, then it can go to 6/7 to 1.

When it is 6/7 to 1, the rn would have 5 of their own patients and back on 1 or 2 of an lpn's patients. 36 or 48hr contract options bls, acls required. Skill requirements: iv start, telemetry, clinician can be floated within scope to meet facilities needs. Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests 100mi. radius rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval).

Wv/compact rn license required - can submit with pending rn license. 36hrs guaranteed perm employees cannot return as travelers for 2 years after last date worked perm.
