Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with physicians, registered nurses, and other clinical professionals. The ideal candidate is attentive, organized, and committed to supporting positive patient outcomes in a professional and respectful environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established care plans, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor patients' conditions, record observations, and report changes to the appropriate clinical team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as authorized and within scope of practice.
- Assist with routine procedures, patient assessments, and diagnostic preparations.
- Support patients with daily care needs while promoting comfort, dignity, and safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, interventions, and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards at all times.
- Assist in patient education and reinforce care instructions as directed.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative care environment.
- Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in the applicable state or jurisdiction.
- Completion of an approved practical nursing program.
- Experience in a clinical, long-term care, hospital, outpatient, or similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, patient care practices, and safety standards.
- Ability to accurately document care and communicate clearly with team members.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records preferred.
- Reliable, adaptable, and committed to high standards of care.
- Professional and compassionate approach when working with diverse patient populations.
- Strong attention to detail and sound clinical judgment.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team-based setting.
