Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Description:
2E SVIMC/PCU RN3x12 NIGHTS 7P-730A; weekdays, every other weekend, float IF necessary
*** Please limit holiday RTO requests to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays.
*** Orientation held every other week on Thursday Unit
Description:
15 Beds. Priority 2 transfers from the ICU requiring intermediate level care. New monitoring system with invasive monitoring capability. Can monitor Arterial pressures and central venous pressures. Patient population includes adult and pediatric surgical and vascular clients requiring close cardiac monitoring.
Ratios: 1:3
Skills Req:
Cardiac Tele/Telemetry experience required;
Post TAVR (Transcatheter aortic valve replacement) designated unit;
Post CEA and Post femoral popliteal bypass patient population;
Invasive line monitoring;
Transvenous pacemaker/Chest tubes;
Critical medication administration;
Respiratory ventilation management;
Interpretation of dysrhythmias;
Management of dysrhythmias
Years of experience REQ: 2 Years First-timers accepted:
Yes - if experience requirements met Weekend REQ:
Every other weekend required
Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS; PALS (preferred, not required)
Can be floated within scope if needed
Manager cannot guarantee blocked schedule requests
100mi. Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval)
WV/Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license

-Perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 Years after last day worked perm-Flu Shot:
Please DO NOT SEND ANYONE WHO REFUSES FLU SHOT WITHOUT MEDICAL PROOF. CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. CAMC FLU SEASON IS OCTOBER 1st - MARCH 31st. NOT REQUIRED OUTSIDE OF THAT WINDOW.
