American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN requiring at least 2 years of RN experience including structural procedures and prior travel experience.
Details- Work in the Cath Lab unit of a Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital
- Daily caseload of 8-10 cases per tech
- Patient ratio of 1:10
- Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30am to 5:00pm
- On-call responsibilities required with a 30 minute response time
- Weekend call rotation starting Friday 7pm through Monday 7am, rotating AM/PM as first call then backup call
- No floating required, though may float within scope of practice if needed
- Cerner charting system used
- Active WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission but active WV license required in hand prior to start
- ARRT registration required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Minimum 1 year of experience competent in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Interventional procedures, including Structural, required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Cerner charting experience preferred
- Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred
- RCIS certification is not considered sufficient licensure to work in the Cath Lab in WV
- Minimum of 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years required
- Perform diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures, including structural cases
- Scrubs provided
- Free parking provided for travelers
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility, with candidates between 75-100 miles considered on a case-by-case basis at the same rate
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
- No RTO restrictions
- Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from their last date of permanent employment before returning as a traveler
- Current employees of the Vandalia Health System (including CAMC Health Systems, Mon Health Systems, Davis Medical Center, Broaddus Hospital, Webster Memorial Hospital, Grafton City Hospital, Highland-Clarksburg Hospital, and Minnie Hamilton Health System) are not eligible for this travel contract
