Join a high-acuity cardiac stepdown nursing team in Charleston, West Virginia. This 13-week travel RN assignment is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse with cardiac telemetry or intermediate care experience who wants to strengthen critical care skills in a fast-paced, collaborative hospital setting.

- Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Shifts Per Week: 3
- Shift Duration: 12 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
- Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; weekday schedule with floating as needed within scope
- Charting System: Cerner
- Orientation: Held every other Thursday
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
- Experience in cardiac telemetry, stepdown, or intermediate care required
- Active WV RN license or compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission
- BLS and ACLS required
- PALS preferred
- Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac rhythm management
- Strong comfort with invasive line monitoring and critical medication administration
- Ability to care for adult and pediatric surgical and vascular patients
- Must be willing to work every other weekend
- Must meet travel radius requirements and comply with submission documentation timelines
- Provide skilled bedside care to cardiac stepdown patients recovering from ICU transfers and surgical procedures
- Monitor arterial pressures, central venous pressures, and other invasive lines as indicated
- Administer critical medications and support ventilatory management when needed
- Recognize, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythm changes, telemetry findings, and dysrhythmias
- Care for post-TAVR, post-CEA, and post femoral popliteal bypass patients
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe patient outcomes
- Float within scope as needed to support unit coverage and patient care needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to an efficient, patient-centered workflow
