Cath Lab RN 4x10hr Days 6:30a-5:00p, on call

Daily Caseload per tech: 8-10 Cases

Years of experience REQ: 2 YEARS RN EXP REQ; 1 Year minimum - have to be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention including Structural

Weekend REQ:
Call Only

Is on-call REQ:
Yes - 30 min response. Call weekend starts Friday 7p and goes thru Monday 7am (rotate am and pm as first and then back up call)

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? If needed but will more than likely stay in Cath Lab

Requirements: circulator in the lab and do moderate sedation, assessment, medications, pre and post op and call.

Full file due by Noon Monday prior to start date. Insufficient documentation will result in a 2-week start date push. Orientation is held every other Thursday. All required information must be included at time of submittal. Submission Details: SSN and DOB required at time of submittal. RTO must be included at time of submittal. Minimum 2 years RN experience required.

WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission. Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility. Candidates between 75 100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the same rate. Minimum 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years required. Required certifications must be listed on the application at time of submittal.

BLS, ACLS, and PALS (if required by the unit) must be through the American Heart Association (AHA). Previous probationary actions on a license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from last permanent employment date before returning as a traveler. Current Vandalia Health System employees (perm, PRN, etc.) are not eligible for travel contracts within the health system.
