Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab​/EP

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN to provide exceptional care within a demanding hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures, including structural heart work, and be prepared for on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Respond promptly to on-call duties, with a 30-minute response time, including weekend rotations.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, primarily working within the Cath Lab.
• Document procedures accurately in Cerner charting system, adhering to hospital protocols.
• Maintain compliance with all licensing and certification requirements for placement and ongoing employment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and multidisciplinary staff to deliver quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid WV or Compact RN license, with active license required before start date. Pending licenses accepted for submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience, with 1 year in cath lab procedures.
• Demonstrate competence in diagnostic and interventional procedures, including structural heart work.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through AHA required, if applicable.
• Must have references from recent managers or charge nurses.
• Ability to respond quickly during on-call shifts and successfully handle high-pressure situations.
