Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Oncology RN for 12-hour night shifts. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate patient care within a fast-paced, diverse clinical environment, supporting patients battling cancer and related conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult medical, surgical, and oncology patients.
• Monitor patient conditions, including telemetry and central line management.
• Administer blood products, medications, and chemotherapy treatments with precision.
• Assist with specialized procedures such as bone marrow aspirations, ports, and pleurx chest tubes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including PPE and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a WV or Compact RN license (pending accepted).
• Possess at least 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care, preferably medical-surgical or oncology.
• Certification in BLS through AHA; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry, blood administration, central line draws, and PCA pump management.
• Be able to float within scope to accommodate facility needs.
• Provide two recent manager or charge nurse references.
