Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner In Charleston, WV

Team Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide behavioral health care to older adults in post-acute and long-term care settings across West Virginia. This part-time position offers clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and organizational support without the administrative burden of private practice.

You will work in post-acute and long-term care environments including skilled nursing facilities (SNF), long-term care (LTC), assisted living facilities (ALF), and inpatient rehabilitation facilities (IRF). The coverage area includes Huntington and Charleston, WV, with virtual options available for Morgantown, WV.

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across multiple care settings

• Part-time: 2-3 days per week
• Monday through Friday only
• No nights or weekends
• Flexible, onsite round-and-go model with remote documentation capabilities

• Active, unrestricted license as a PMHNP-C or Psychiatric PA-C
• Active DEA license or willingness to obtain one

• Experience working with older adults
• Experience in post-acute care settings

• Fee-for-service (FFS) model
• Estimated annual compensation range: $55,553 to $66,664
• No cap on productivity income
