Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Charleston, WV

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-Call Required | 36 Guaranteed Hours

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab setting, supporting 8–10 cases per day
• Perform competently across all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Interventional procedures, including Structural cases
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend call coverage (Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM, rotating first and backup call)
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health record system
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient care needs within a short-term acute care, Level IV Trauma Center environment

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience with demonstrated competency in Diagnostic, Interventional, and Structural procedures
• Active West Virginia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must have active WV license in hand prior to assignment start)
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Must maintain a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility (candidates 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Minimum of 2 Manager or Charge Nurse references from within the past 2 years required at time of submission

• Experience in a high-acuity or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system
• PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
