RN - Registered Nurse - 4474 (Day)

• Day shift position
• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on assessment data
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify teaching needs and goals
• Provide patient information and status updates for Initial Team Conferences and weekly Re-evaluation Team Conferences
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs on assigned unit
• Utilize nursing process of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
• Initiate discharge planning from day of admission and provide patient teaching in anticipation of discharge
• Communicate pertinent patient status changes to attending physicians and charge nurses
• Provide direction, training, and supervision of LPNs and CNAs
• Assume charge responsibility following orientation period as requested
• Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required
• BLS Certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only)
