About the OpportunityWe are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) – Surgery to join the surgical services team in Beckley, WV. This is a full-time day-shift opportunity for an RN with solid Operating Room/Surgical experience who is looking to grow their career in a dynamic hospital environment.
The main Operating Room features 7 fully equipped procedure rooms and supports a wide range of surgical specialties, including orthopedic and orthopedic trauma, general surgery, gynecology, vascular, spine, urology, podiatry, trauma, sports medicine, and DaVinci robotic procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify patient needs
- Provide safe, age- and condition-appropriate nursing care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Develop, implement, and revise interdisciplinary care plans
- Collaborate with the surgical team to support quality patient outcomes
- Provide care for both inpatient and outpatient surgical cases
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year of Surgery/Operating Room RN experience
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire
- ASLS certification preferred
- $71,000 – $98,000 annual salary
