Big Lots is seeking motivated individuals to support our store operations and provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve.

• Greet customers and assist them with merchandise selection.
• Complete transactions and answer questions regarding the store and merchandise.
• Unload trucks, process freight, recover merchandise, and stock shelves.
• Maintain a clean, well‑stocked store to enhance the shopping experience.
• Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using the POS system.
• Remain constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment.
• Perform all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation.

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs from floor level to above shoulder height and meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, and repetitive lifting.
• Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Retail store environment where extended periods of standing are required.

• Scheduled work hours may vary and include evenings and weekends.
• Occasional use of ladders required.
