Prevention Specialist, HIV Prevention- Virginia North

Role / Responsibilities

• Represent HIV Prevention products/services to a defined customer base; generate and grow sales by consistently meeting/exceeding targets within assigned territory.
• Build relationships with healthcare providers; deliver approved disease awareness information, clinical updates, and education.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan; monitor progress and adjust strategies.
• Maintain product/disease expertise and promote appropriate use per Corporate/PhRMA/OIG guidelines.
• Partner with internal field colleagues and externally with healthcare organizations/partners (including co-promotion) to enhance reach and drive sales.
• Demonstrate compliance/ethical conduct; report adverse events timely.
• Conduct administrative tasks (call activity/customer information, expenses, territory budget) and stay current on technical/scientific and industry/trends.

• Strong presentation/communication; ability to simplify complex clinical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Proven sales success; advanced influencing/relationship skills.
• Technical/scientific proficiency; comfort engaging in sexual health conversations.
• Cross-functional matrix collaboration; patient-centered, autonomy/initiative.
• Injectable and Buy & Bill experience.

• Required:
  
  Bachelor’s + 5 years experience OR Master’s + 3 years.
• Travel within assigned area; meet onsite visitation requirements; valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: BA/BS; 4+ years pharma/biotech/healthcare sales; specialty/highly competitive market experience; injectable physician-administered products; managed care familiarity.

• Salary range: $115,260–$149,160; may include annual bonus/long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
