Overview
Allied Universal is hiring in Charleston, WV. Security Guard - Part Time. Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour.
Shifts:
Tuesday & Wednesday / Overnight.

Job Schedule:
Tuesday and Wednesday, overnight (10:00 PM – 06:00 AM).
- Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or local authorities as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior common areas, storefront corridors, exterior perimeters, and parking areas to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or hazard concerns for reporting.
- Monitor entrances, loading areas, and other key access points, assisting with access control, crowd flow, and closing procedures as assigned.
- Observe and report suspicious behavior, potential shoplifting issues, and policy violations, coordinating with management and/or law enforcement when required.

- CPR certification is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
