Job Skills / RequirementsPOSITION SUMMARY for Security/Utility Officer:
- Support staffing requirements at accounts during shortages due to vacations, call‑offs, no shows, suspensions, holidays, etc.
- Assist in start‑ups at new accounts to include: working the site, training new officers.
- Work special security assignments as required.
- Expect to work on weekends and holidays with limited notice, and work during “high need” periods.
Ideal candidates meeting the basic requirements for this position must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be able to work flexible schedules.
- Have a high school diploma, GED, or 10 years of verifiable work experience.
- Be able to pass an extensive background check including criminal history, employment verification and references, registered sex‑offender search, and drivers license validation.
- Be drug free and able to pass a drug screen (unless undergoing documented medical treatment).
- Have access to reliable transportation to and from the work location.
- Be able to communicate effectively both written and orally for the purpose of report writing and interacting with the public and emergency personnel.
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Be able to meet state licensing requirements for Security Officers, if required.
Starting pay rate is $15.50 an hour with a $300 hiring bonus after 90 days full time.
Education Requirements (All)High School Diploma or Equivalent.
