Skilled Mechanic Opportunity in Charleston, WV

Manpower is looking for a Skilled Mechanic in the Charleston, WV area.

Location:

Charleston, WV Compensation:
Up to $15hr or $600 weekly with bonuses

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

As a Mechanic, you'll receive hands-on training to:

• Disassemble, inspect, and repair industrial pumps
• Fabricate custom components like base plates and protective guards
• Learn and perform stick welding (prior experience is a plus!)
• Occasionally travel for trade shows and manufacturer training (2–3 days, twice a year)
• Work in the field with a team to troubleshoot, install, or repair equipment
• Contribute to daily shop operations—everyone pitches in!

Work Hours:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (we dismiss at 4:45 to beat traffic!)

Location:

Charleston, WV

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable using power tools and driving a standard pickup truck
• Willingness to learn welding and fabrication
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

• Starting Pay: $16/hr
