We are seeking experienced and dedicated Senior Superintendents to join our team for large‑scale long‑haul fiber installation projects. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day field operations, developing project plans, and monitoring performance. Recognized as experts, they anticipate client needs, provide solutions, share expertise, and mentor colleagues.

• Ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes
• Lead the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversee incident investigations
• Review and update construction schedules, address delays, and contribute to project schedules
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects
• Maintain working knowledge of reporting and tracking of financial aspects of the project
• Participate in subcontractor, supplier selection, procurement, and negotiations
• Set priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field team
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff and superintendents

• 8 or more years of experience as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent
• Knowledge of underground fiber installation using boring and plow equipment
• Post‑secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• Ability to directly supervise craft employees as well as sub‑contractors
• Problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issues
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices
• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, etc.)
• This is a site‑based position that will require travel to various Ledcor offices and project sites through multiple states
