Manpower is looking for a Skilled Mechanic in the Charleston, WV area.
Location: Charleston, WV
Compensation: Up to $15hr or $600 weekly with bonuses
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
What You’ll Be DoingAs a Mechanic
, you’ll receive hands-on training to:
- Disassemble, inspect, and repair industrial pumps
- Fabricate custom components like base plates and protective guards
- Learn and perform stick welding (prior experience is a plus!)
- Occasionally travel for trade shows and manufacturer training (2-3 days, twice a year)
- Work in the field with a team to troubleshoot, install, or repair equipment
- Contribute to daily shop operations - everyone pitches in!
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (we dismiss at 4:45 to beat traffic!)
Location: Charleston, WV
What You Bring- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable using power tools and driving a standard pickup truck
- Willingness to learn welding and fabrication
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Starting Pay: $16/hr
- Retirement Plans: Profit-sharing after 1 year + 401(k) match (up to 4%) after 6 months
