United Talent is immediately hiring Crisis Support Specialists for a respected organization in Charleston, WV. What You’ll Do

• Respond to incoming calls, texts, and chats from individuals seeking support, assistance, and community resources
• Provide compassionate, professional, and non-judgmental support
• Listen actively, assess individual needs, and gather accurate information
• Document interactions thoroughly and accurately in agency systems
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all applicable policies and procedures
• Remain calm, focused, and effective during emotionally sensitive or high-stress situations
• Provide resource referrals and connect individuals with appropriate community services
• Follow established crisis intervention and escalation procedures
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure high-quality service
• Meet productivity, documentation, and quality standards
• Successfully complete all required training

Pay & Schedule

• $15–$20 per hour, based on experience
• Paid training:
  Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Training typically lasts 4–6 weeks
• Primarily night shift opportunities are available after training

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM with 97%–100% accuracy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent listening, problem-solving, and customer service abilities
• Ability to remain professional and composed during difficult conversations
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation
• Successfully pass a criminal background preferred
• Ability to pass required drug screening, including no THC due to federal funding requirements
