Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is developing a region build service to drive region build automation to next level using AI integration and tools. This role will lead the design and development of scalable software solutions while mentoring and guiding teams. Leverage expertise in system architecture, cloud technologies, and software design to drive innovation and ensure performance, security, and maintainability. Define best practices, establish coding standards, and troubleshoot complex challenges.

• As a Software Engineer, you will work with a team of software engineers responsible for the design, development and operations for our new and existing products using AI integration and tools.
• You should be able to architect broad system interactions, be hands‑on, dive deep into any part of the stack, value simplicity and impact, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment and be excited to learn.
• You should have experience developing and operating high‑scale services and understand how to make these cloud‑scale services resilient.
• You should be technically strong and productive; someone who knows how to balance speed and quality with iterative and incremental improvements.
• You understand operational excellence and know how to infuse a culture of being proactive within your team.
• You recommend and justify major changes to new and existing products and establish consensus with data‑driven approaches.

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field involving coding or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years of total experience in software development
• Demonstrated ability to write great code using Java, GoLang, C#, or similar OO languages
• Knowledge in developing software with Agentic AI
• Proven ability to deliver products and experience with the full software development lifecycle
• Experience working on large‑scale, highly distributed services infrastructure
• Experience working in an operational environment with mission‑critical tier‑one livesite servicing
• Systematic problem‑solving approach, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership and drive

US:
Hiring Range in USD from: $92,500 to $209,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

• Paid time off:
  Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non‑overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
  
  Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
