- This posting is for a heavy scale test inspector with the West Virginia Division of Labor, Weights & Measures section.
- Headquartered at your home, you will have an area of assignment to travel the state to inspect and test large capacity scales.
- State vehicles and equipment is provided.
- All travel expenses are paid.
- Become a member of the National Council on Weights & Measures.
- Perform Inspections for compliance with NIST handbook 44 and 130.
- Hands‑on training is provided.
- Candidates shall have a valid WV Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Accurate data entry into agency databases and reports is required.
- Work in a variety of settings including: outdoors, farms, chemical and manufacturing plants, coal mines, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned

TrainingHands‑on training will be provided.
Special Requirements for area of Heavy Scale Truck OperatorMust possess and maintain a Commercial Drivers License. Must have and maintain a clear driving record as recorded with the Division of Motor Vehicles.
