• Create forms used to build precast concrete sections (walls, beams, columns, stairs, etc.)
• Install rebar, plates, mesh, and foam insulation
• Form concrete using screed boards, vibrators, and trowels
• Use hand tools and power tools (drills, saws, tie guns, etc.)
• Delivery of ready‑mix concrete products, frequently lifting, carrying and attaching to flare chute extension chutes weighing more than 40 lbs.
• Perform vehicle maintenance: pre‑trip and post‑trip safety inspections, daily fluid checks, and cleanup of cab, drum and equipment.
• Climb ladder to rinse hopper and check slump of the load multiple times daily.
• Assist other departments by sweeping, shoveling, and other duties as requested.
• Follow company policy, procedures and supervisors’ instructions.
• Operate in conformance with safety and security standards.

• Ability to read tape measures and blueprints
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to operate machinery safely
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Troubleshooting skills

• Move a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Spatial awareness, depth perception, walking, climbing, bending at the waist, reaching, forceful use of hand tools, and vocal projection.

• Typical industrial hazards with varying climates, dust, noise and moving machinery.
• Drivers work outdoors most of the time; must tolerate extreme weather conditions.

• Excellent defensive driving skills.
• Ability to clean all areas of the vehicle, climb ladder to inspect loads of ready‑mix concrete, and hang mixer chutes.
• Ability to take orders, instructions and guidance from supervisors and management.
• Self‑starter, organized and able to follow through.
