Inventory Supervisor coordinates and executes inventory control processes and procedures, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, conducting audits, and managing stock efficiently. This position includes implementing policies, overseeing cycle counting, educating teams on inventory practices, and driving P&L results.

2nd Shift: 11:00AM – 7:30PM, Monday – Friday

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate record‑keeping systems to track inventory movements and levels.
  • Supervise inventory cycle counts, conduct audits, and ensure efficient stock management.
  • Identify, prioritize, and lead the implementation of complex cross‑functional inventory control process improvement initiatives, with a focus on forward‑thinking project introduction, development, and execution.
  • Communicate effectively with management and customers to ensure SLAs are met and issues are promptly resolved.
  • Meet or surpass daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with accurate reporting that consistently exceeds customer expectations.
  • Proficient in MRP and ERP systems for inventory management, supporting and educating team members on their daily utilization.
  • Collaborate with the sourcing team to establish and implement optimal Min and Max levels for critical consumables to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of a formal inventory control program in our 3PL distribution centers and ensure the execution of standardized inventory procedures.
  • Effectively leverage and enhance inventory reports for internal and external purposes.
  • Assist in analyzing inventory data, identifying trends, and making recommendations to optimize inventory levels and minimize stock outs or overstock situations.
  • Provide first level of support for any escalated issue during work shift.
  • Engage in employee relations initiatives, promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Assist in P&L forecasting and analysis, alongside labor planning and scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
  • All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years inventory leadership experience, including overseeing large inventories and audit procedures preferably in a high‑volume production environment.
  • Proven hands‑on experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Understanding of inventory control principles and procedures.
  • Capable problem‑solving skills and decision‑making capabilities, demonstrating a strategic approach with a focus on achieving results and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Detail‑oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating effective verbal and written communication.
  • Capacity to engage with customers in a professional manner.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Supervising temporary staff
  • Experience working with UKG and Kronos
  • General knowledge of OSHA Standards
  • Advanced analytical abilities
Educational Requirements
  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience
