Academic Fieldwork Coordinator

MGH Institute of Health Professions invites applications for a 12-month, full-time Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, at the rank of Assistant Professor to join our Department of Occupational Therapy. The Academic Fieldwork Coordinator is responsible for alignment and delivery of experiential components of the OTD curriculum. They ensure the program's compliance with ACOTE fieldwork standards and oversight of clinical partnerships for level II fieldwork experiences.

Responsibilities include teaching in our top-ranked US News World Report Entry – Level Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program, scholarship, supervising student research, advising graduate students and working closely with administrative fieldwork staff and faculty. Faculty also provide service to the department, Institute, and community. The ideal faculty member is a generalist in occupational therapy practice and education with expectation of a line of scholarship inquiry and doctoral capstone mentorship, who also has experience in clinical education.

This position may also include supervision of OT services in our student-led pro bono center to support our clinical education placements.

The IHP is committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation that reflects each faculty member's experience, expertise, responsibilities, and performance. The expected base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $145,000, based on faculty rank (Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor), qualifications, and discipline. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors such as academic and clinical experience, teaching responsibilities, education, licensure, specialty, training, market, and internal equity.

This range represents base salary only and does not include benefits or other elements of total compensation; details about the full compensation and benefits package will be shared during the recruitment process.

Clinical and didactic teaching experience of three - five years. Candidates must possess an earned post professional doctorate and have clinical expertise as a generalist in occupational therapy practice and education of at least five years. Current occupational therapy license or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts is required. Rank and salary commensurate with experience.
