Payroll Specialist

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Part Time Payroll Specialist to join our team in Charlestown, Massachusetts. This Part Time position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to payroll operations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment within the real estate and property industry. The role involves managing complex payroll processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting key payroll functions onsite.

Hours are Monday
- Wednesday 9am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

- Process both union and non-union payrolls with accuracy and efficiency.

- Manage accounting coding for benefits such as Blue Cross Blue Shield.

- Handle unemployment claims and family leave processing.

- Administer payroll functions to support the team, including resolving exceptions as needed.

- Utilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll management and reporting.

- Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll regulations and company policies.

- Collaborate with internal teams to provide payroll-related insights and solutions.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation for over 500 employees.

- Address payroll discrepancies and resolve issues proactively.

- Support benefit administration and related payroll activities.

Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is required.

- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and compliance.

- Experience managing payroll for over 500 employees.

- Ability to work onsite and handle a hectic work environment with professionalism.

- Familiarity with benefit administration and accounting coding.

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Thick skin and a stable work history are essential for success in this role.
