This position is temporary with the maximum hours of 300 a year.
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Meadowview Onsite Programs and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state special education laws, the Special Education Teacher – Case Management Coach provides temporary, high-level support to ensure continuity of special education services during staffing vacancies, leaves, or transitions. The position is primarily responsible for Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, review, and compliance;
progress monitoring; and required special education documentation. Key additional responsibilities include providing implementation support to educators to ensure IEPs are followed with fidelity and student services are delivered in accordance with legal requirements.
- Serves as temporary support for required special education case management functions that must be completed by a certified special education teacher.
- Assists with the development, review, revision, and completion of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal requirements.
- Supports progress monitoring systems, including collection, analysis, and reporting of student data aligned with IEP goals.
- Assists in the preparation and completion of progress reports and other legally required special education documentation.
- Provides guidance to educators regarding implementation of IEPs, including accommodations, modifications, and specially designed instruction to ensure fidelity of services.
- Supports accurate documentation of special education services, including service logs, data collection systems, and required reporting tools.
- Assists program staff in maintaining compliance with special education timelines, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborates with educators, related service providers, and administrators to support continuity of services for students with disabilities.
- Provides implementation support to educators as needed to ensure IEP fidelity, but does not serve in an evaluative, or supervisory role.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Certificates, Licenses, Registrations (If Applicable)- A valid Michigan Teaching Certification with a special education endorsement
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required;
Master’s preferred. - Minimum of three years of successful special education experience required.
- Strong knowledge of IDEA, MARSE, and special education compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in IEP development and case management.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to organize, manage, and complete legally required documentation accurately and on time.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, related service providers, and administrators.
