Teacher ASD

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our team as a Full-Time Teacher ASD. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality educational services to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at Meadowview in Potterville.

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with ASD
• Provide direct instruction to students with ASD in a variety of subjects
• Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with other teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students with ASD
• Monitor and track student progress, and adjust instruction as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and needs
• Attend and participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school-related events

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification in special education
• Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices for students with ASD
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment for students with ASD.
