Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of manufacturing engineers.
- Oversee and execute engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align engineering strategies with business objectives.
- Manage departmental budget, resources, and capital expenditure planning.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
- Proven technical expertise in manufacturing engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, industrial, process) with direct experience in production operations.
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams, including project lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and process optimization within a production setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of implementing effective engineering solutions to complex manufacturing challenges.
- Experience with manufacturing automation, industrial controls, and the implementation of new technologies to enhance production efficiency.
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with ERP/MES system implementation or optimization.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies (e.g., IoT, AI in manufacturing).
- Background in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace).
