Key Responsibilities- Design, program, and maintain PLC and HMI/SCADA systems for manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues, including electrical, software, and network components.
- Develop and implement control system architectures, including component selection and electrical schematics.
- Lead the commissioning and startup of new automated machinery and process lines.
- Identify and implement control system improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for control systems and programming.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on automation projects from concept to completion.
- Expertise in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens) and associated software.
- Proficiency in HMI/SCADA system development and integration (e.g., Factory Talk View, Ignition).
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ether Net/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
- Ability to design, troubleshoot, and commission industrial control panels and automation equipment.
- Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
- Solid knowledge of servo/motion control systems and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
- Proficiency with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, Sick).
- Familiarity with MES/SCADA integration and database historians (e.g., Ignition, OSIsoft PI).
- Basic programming skills in Python or C# for data analysis or custom tool development.
- Knowledge of industrial network architecture and cybersecurity best practices.
