Quality Engineer - Charlotte Area

Salary Range: $70,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring quality requirements are met.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards.
• Perform internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in quality methodologies and tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, Lean/Six Sigma).
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.

• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Certified Internal or Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and implementation
