Salary Range: $77,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Charlotte seeking Applications Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for manufacturing applications and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and implement solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for applications, processes, and configurations.
- Participate in the testing, validation, and deployment of new software releases.
- Optimize application performance and ensure data integrity within manufacturing systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial control systems.
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software and simulation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience with PLM/PDM systems
- Familiarity with simulation software (e.g., FEA, CFD)
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus)
- Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, Power Shell)
- Background in quality methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing)
