Salary Range: $76,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Charlotte that are seeking Supplier Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality improvement programs.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues, including non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with supply chain and engineering teams to establish and maintain supplier quality requirements.
• Analyze supplier performance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in new product development and launch activities to ensure supplier readiness.
• Manage supplier qualification and re-qualification processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, supplier quality, or a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, 8D problem solving).
• Experience conducting supplier audits and assessments.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ certifications (e.g., CSQP, CQE)
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
• Familiarity with specific industry quality standards (e.g., ISO/TS, AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485)
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Multilingual abilities, especially in languages relevant to international suppliers
