Quality Technician

Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $25.00 - 25.00

The Quality Technician position is responsible for ensuring that the product meets the customer’srequirements (both internal and external) at each stage of its manufacturing process, carrying out relevant testing and where necessary take corrective action to rectify non-conformance issues. Report quality issues data, ensuring the Quality Management System is adhered to at all stages.

• Perform complete pre-inspection, test drive of chassis (where applicable), and quality audits of finished product in accordance with process documentation.
• Facilitate/Participate in Root Cause Analysis, Design FMEA,Production FMEA, Practical Problem Solving, etc.
• Initiate non-conforming material documents for supplier quality issues.
• Perform audits of new and existing processes.
• Facilitate and support the creation and execution of quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives that align with customer expectations.
• Act as a mediator when needed to clarify customer expectationsor interpret standards.
• Document writing, control, and management.
• Perform data entry, analyze quality data, and generate reportsto communicate findings.
• Demonstrate safe work practices, support team collaboration, and participate in activities that promote a culture of continuous quality improvement.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager/Supervisor.
• Develop and implement manufacturing process changes.
• Develop continuous improvement projects for the quality audit process.
• Complete Quality Technician Program tasks daily.

• Minimum 2–3 years related Quality Manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of/ability to acquire a thorough understanding of customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read relevant measuring equipment.
• Provide appropriate feedback and documentation of any defects.
• Able to read and understand Engineering documents such as part prints and assembly drawings.
• Demonstrate accuracy in inspections and documentation, with minimal errors.
• Posses strong interpersonal skills, a team-oriented mindset, andthe ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Be willing to:

• Participate in activities that support professional development and continuous improvement.
• Develop a working knowledge of company’s systems.
• Able to work overtime on short notice.
