Automotive Mechanic, Automotive Technician
Technician
We are looking for a skilled technician with experience in automotive paint and auto body detailing. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using power tools and angle grinders, as well as sanding surfaces to remove imperfections and buffing to achieve a high-gloss, mirror-like finish.
Responsibilities
- Sand and buff automotive surfaces to remove imperfections.
- Utilize power tools and angle grinders efficiently.
- Achieve a high-gloss, mirror-like finish on painted surfaces.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in hand and power tools, sand, buffing, and mechanical assembly.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements (2+ years of experience needed).
- Experience with hand tools and power tools, such as drills, screw guns, and caulk guns (2+ years of experience needed).
- Strong physical ability for frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and climbing ladders, as well as the ability to lift 40lbs.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate professionally.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in automotive paint and auto body detailing is ideal.
Job Type & Location
This is a contract to hire position based out of Charlotte, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.55/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
